From Rome: by highway A25 ROME - PESCARA, exit at Sulmona-Pratola Peligna. Follow S.S.17 towards Roccaraso for 20 km. Turn right at "CONTRADA VALLELARGA - SCANNO" (before you reach Pettorano sul Gizio).
From Naples:: by highway ROMA-NAPOLI, exit at CAIANELLO and drive toward VENAFRO-ROCCARASO. From Roccaraso drive 25 km direction Sulmona. Exit left at "CONTRADA VALLELARGA - SCANNO" (after Pettorano sul Gizio).

From Rome, Pescara or L'Aquila get off at the Sulmona railstation. Taxis are available outside.
